    Get PDF
In this paper, stochastic fuzzy Cohen–Grossberg neural networks with discrete and distributed delays are investigated. By using Lyapunov function and the Ito differential formula, some sufficient conditions for the pth moment exponential stability of such stochastic fuzzy Cohen–Grossberg neural networks with discrete and distributed delays are established. An example is given to illustrate the feasibility of our main theoretical findings. Finally, the paper ends with a brief conclusion. Methodology and achieved results is to be presented

An asymptotically periodic predator-prey model with time delay is investigated. Some sufficient conditions for the uniformly strong persistence of the system are obtained. Our result is an important complementarity to the earlier results

On fractional-order symmetric oscillator with offset-boosting control

    Get PDF
This article analyzes the dynamical evolution of a three-dimensional symmetric oscillator with a fractional Caputo operator. The dynamical properties of the considered model such as equilibria and its stability are also presented. The existence results and uniqueness of solutions for the suggested model are analyzed using the tools from fixed point theory. The symmetric oscillator is analyzed numerically and graphically with various fractional orders. It is observed that the fractional operator has a significant impact on the evolution of the oscillator dynamics showing that the system has a limit-cycle attractor. Offset-boosting control phenomena in the system are also studied with different orders and parameters

The Effect of Time Delay on Dynamical Behavior in an Ecoepidemiological Model

    Get PDF
A delayed predator-prey model with disease in the prey is investigated. The conditions for the local stability and the existence of Hopf bifurcation at the positive equilibrium of the system are derived. The effect of the two different time delays on the dynamical behavior has been given. Numerical simulations are performed to illustrate the theoretical analysis. Finally, the main conclusions are drawn

Stability and Bifurcation Analysis in a Class of Two-Neuron Networks with Resonant Bilinear Terms

    Get PDF
A class of two-neuron networks with resonant bilinear terms is considered. The stability of the zero equilibrium and existence of Hopf bifurcation is studied. It is shown that the zero equilibrium is locally asymptotically stable when the time delay is small enough, while change of stability of the zero equilibrium will cause a bifurcating periodic solution as the time delay passes through a sequence of critical values. Some explicit formulae for determining the stability and the direction of the Hopf bifurcation periodic solutions bifurcating from Hopf bifurcations are obtained by using the normal form theory and center manifold theory. Finally, numerical simulations supporting the theoretical analysis are carried out

Dynamics in a Delayed Neural Network Model of Two Neurons with Inertial Coupling

    Get PDF
A delayed neural network model of two neurons with inertial coupling is dealt with in this paper. The stability is investigated and Hopf bifurcation is demonstrated. Applying the normal form theory and the center manifold argument, we derive the explicit formulas for determining the properties of the bifurcating periodic solutions. An illustrative example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the obtained results

Existence and Global Attractivity of Positive Periodic Solutions for a Two-Species Competitive System with Stage Structure and Impulse

    Get PDF
A class of nonautonomous two-species competitive system with stage structure and impulse is considered. By using the continuation theorem of coincidence degree theory, we derive a set of easily verifiable sufficient conditions that guarantee the existence of at least a positive periodic solution, and, by constructing a suitable Lyapunov functional, the uniqueness and global attractivity of the positive periodic solution are presented. Finally, an illustrative example is given to demonstrate the correctness of the obtained results

A class of Beddington-DeAngelis functional response predator-prey model is considered. The conditions for the local stability and the existence of Hopf bifurcation at the positive equilibrium of the system are derived. Some explicit formulae for determining the stability and the direction of the Hopf bifurcation periodic solutions bifurcating from Hopf bifurcations are obtained by using the normal form theory and center manifold theory. Some numerical simulations for justifying the theoretical analysis are also provided. Finally, main conclusions are given

    Get PDF
This paper deals with a kind of nonlinear Duffing equation with a deviating argument and time-varying delay. By using differential inequality techniques, some very verifiable criteria on the existence and exponential stability of antiperiodic solutions for the equation are obtained. Our results are new and complementary to previously known results. An example is given to illustrate the feasibility and effectiveness of our main results

On the Nature of Bifurcation in a Ratio-Dependent Predator-Prey Model with Delays

    Get PDF
A ratio-dependent predator-prey model with two delays is investigated. The conditions which ensure the local stability and the existence of Hopf bifurcation at the positive equilibrium of the system are obtained. It shows that the two different time delays have different effects on the dynamical behavior of the system. An example together with its numerical simulations shows the feasibility of the main results. Finally, main conclusions are included
